Cara Hernandez was fishing with her son, Capt. Leslie Hernandez, when she hooked up on a great-size kingfish! Now is definitely the time to catch them!

April 30th is the Annual Fishing for Kids Fishing Tournament with UF Shands! It is always a fun time with great payouts, food & fun! Raising money for a good cause! Shand's Miracle Network

Florida State Prison hosted their second annual charity fishing tournament to raise money for Special Olympics Florida. Ten boats entered and completed the tournament while raising over $1,100 dollars! FSP is looking forward to building this tournament each year and are already planning the next Spring tournament for 2023. Great job to all involved!!

The Coggins crew went on an over-night offshore fishing trip and came back with not one, but TWO, swordfish and a snowy grouper!

To our knowledge, these swordfish were caught out of Steinhatchee, FL!

Sergeant K9 Deputy Nathaniel (Nathan) Singleton lost his life in an off-duty automobile accident April 11th.

Nathan's fiancé, Hailey Carroll has worked and been apart of the Sea Hag Family for many years and is dear to our heart. We ask that you stop and say a prayer for Nathan's family, friends & fiancé. His funeral will be held on Thursday, April 21st. His escort home to First Baptist Church of Cross City will begin at 10am, viewing will be held at 11am and the service will begin at 1pm. Nathan dedicated his life to serving his community and his best friend was his K9 companion, Link. In Nathan's honor, the family and fellow Dixie County deputies are asking K9 Deputies across Florida to attend Nathan's service Thursday.

Please help spread the word as we honor Sergeant K9 Deputy Nathaniel Singleton.

The Optimist Club of Perry is hosting their 30th Annual Fishing Tournament here at the Sea Hag on May 7th!

Danita Deacon - our employee, our co-worker, our friend. RIP. Danita came to work at Sea Hag Marina in 2015. She was one of the hardest working ladies we know. She never called in sick (until the end), was ALWAYS 30 minutes early, and knocked out a daily routine with her eyes close! She was so diligent that when she fell sick we had to create the “Danita List” so that all the employees could do what Danita did without hesitation. The “Danita List” is still executed daily. Danita loved the Sea Hag cats. Most of these cats miss her except those that are sitting beside her in heaven. We know Joey is meowing at her now. Love and miss you, Danita.
