SYLVANIA YOUTH HOCKEY CLUB PARTNERS WITH EAO SPORTS LLC.

Sylvania Youth Hockey Club (SYHI) is excited to announce its partnership with EAO Sports LLC. in their new training facility located at Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter. Mike Mankowski, Hockey Director, stated that “the culture and missions of both organizations align extremely well. Our goal is to develop our youth hockey players so they can play at the next level. Also, to further solidify the SYHI as the premier hockey development program in N.W. Ohio. It made good sense to partner with EAO”.


Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter is the premier ice hockey and ice skating facility in N.W Ohio. The facility was built in 1971. Its youth hockey and learn to play programs are recognized and regarded as the best in the area for the development of youth hockey players.


EAO Sports LLC. are the Strength and Human performance coaches for the ECHL Toledo Walleye and on the development staff for the NHL Detroit Red Wings. EAO Sports and its owner Dan Jones will enter their 10th year overseeing all off ice strength and human performance for the Toledo Walleye. Dan also participates on the development staff for the NHL Detroit Red Wings, working with their top prospects.


EAO Sports is also known as the hockey mecca and the athlete manufacturing facility of N.W. Ohio. A high percentage of the local top amateur athletes and NCAA prospects train at EAO Sports. Their athletes includes players in the NFL, MLB and NHL. Also, 12 national champions, 4 world champions, U.S. Olympians, Team USA Gold and Bronze medalists, recent NHL draft picks and D1 athletes.


The new partnership of SYHI and EAO Sports will deliver an unmatched youth hockey player development experience in the area.
