You probably know a lot about me. (If you don't, check out the About Sylvia page on my site.) Now, it is time that we all learned a bit about our entire harp community!
Have you ever been curious about questions like these?
- What is the average age when people start to play the harp?
- How many players own multiple harps?
- How many played the piano before they began to learn the harp?
- How many harp players create their own arrangements?
- How many play in hospitals or hospice settings?
etc.
I've created a quick and easy survey that should take less than five minutes to complete. It asks what types of harps you play, when you started playing, how you tune your harp, etc.
If you complete the survey, you'll be entered into a random drawing to win one of TEN $25 Harp Center gift certificates!
I will keep your answers completely confidential. The results, to be published in a future newsletter, will be anonymous and will present only general information on the various categories. For example, something like this:
- xx% play both lever and pedal harp.
- xx% of lever harp players tune their harps to three flats.
- xx% of pedal harpists own more than one pedal harp.
- xx% of harp players also play the piano.
- xx% of harp players say their pets love to hear the harp.
etc.
