Susie Winterhalter has been the synod bookkeeper for 18 years (as of Sept. 6). She has been so faithful to her call in this work, and many of you have had the opportunity to interact with her on the phone or in person. She has blessed us with her diligence and grace and now we tell her: “Well done, good and faithful servant” as she has announced that she is retiring at the end of September. If you would like to send her cards or notes of encouragement, you can send them to the synod office at 1090 Oestreich Dr. Seguin, TX 78155. If you would like to make a financial gift in her honor she has asked that those be designated to Southwestern Texas Synod – where needed most (which is just like Susie!).

We are pleased to welcome Rhonda Behal as our new synod bookkeeper. She began her work last week; there is a lot of training for a new bookkeeper to take on, so we are fortunate that Susie is staying on to ensure Rhonda is well equipped for the many details that the job entails.



Rhonda is a member of Spirit of Joy in Seguin. She has broad experience in the areas of bookkeeping, tax preparation, office management, event planning and more. She and her husband live in Seguin.
