Encourage your student to try CLASS academic coaching
A free 8-hour program to help college students make sure they spend their study time wisely
.
Why academic coaching?
Successful studying in college requires different skills than most students learn in high school. Research shows that many new college students rely on weak study strategies – especially re-reading, highlighting and reviewing problems someone else has solved. Coaching introduces students to effective study strategies based on cognitive science and tailored to their own coursework and goals.
