Mandatory Online Training for Students
Must be completed before August 26, 2019

The EVERFI online training modules are now available. Please note that students received an e-mail with the instructions at their syr.edu e-mail account.

As your student prepares to join our campus community, it is important to know that we aim to foster an environment where all community members feel safe and supported. It is on all of us to make, and encourage others to make, healthy and respectful decisions that help cultivate a caring community.

To provide students with opportunities to learn more about ways to make healthier decisions and support a healthy community, we partner with EVERFI to deliver Syracuse University’s Community Wellness Requirements through online modules focused on sexual and relationship violence prevention, alcohol and other drug education, and diversity, equity and inclusion. These interactive modules introduce students to concepts, resources and policies related to healthy personal and professional relationships.

Each of the modules takes about 60 minutes to complete and students may work at their own pace from any computer with Internet access. Students are required to complete these modules. They only need to complete each module once. If your student started a module and did not complete it prior to the website experiencing technical difficulties, we ask that they please restart and complete the module.

Failure to complete the modules will result in a Conduct Hold, hindering class registration in addition to participation in Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, Athletics, studying abroad and more.

As a new student, they will participate in signature experiences that build connection, promote community well-being and help them to learn more about the University through the First-Year Experience initiative . For additional information or questions, students should contact healthpromotion@syr.edu
