We're nearing the end of what's been a wonderfully busy year, but we haven't crossed the finish line yet. This week is the Syttende Mai parade and next week will be the North High Schools Band Festival. CHAPERONES ARE NEEDED MAY 23 - we need 8 more adults to accompany us next week with the bands. All chaperones must have completed SPS volunteer paperwork. Please head to the Sign up Genius to snag your spot.
Syttende Mai Parade
Call time is 3:45pm. Students are to be dressed to go by 4 pm (wear long black socks and band tshirts). We will then walk with our instruments to the staging ground near Adams elementary. (Steve will drive over the largest of the instruments - quads, bass drums). The parade will take off at 6 pm - don't be late for viewing - we're number 3! Following the parade, students will be walking back to the school and returning their marching band uniforms. We are still looking for a few chaperones and now have a sign up to donate cases of water.
