Application for 2017 Internship Program now open

 

The THF Internship Program team is currently traveling across the country, visiting more than 50 colleges and universities to recruit students for its 2017 summer internship class. The team hosts information sessions and participates in career fairs and diversity panels nationwide.

THF takes part in industry's Diversity Week, September 19-23  
 
4th Annual THF HR Diversity Roundtable, hosted by PwC, NYC

HR, talent acquisition and diversity & inclusion professionals
, representing leading media, entertainment, advertising and marketing companies, gathered for this annual event. THF's Diversity Roundtable p rovides a platform to discuss challenges and best practices for the recruitment and retention of diverse talent.

THF MEN Meet & Greet, hosted by A+E Networks, NYC
 

Our new male recruitment initiative, THF MEN (Mentor, Engage, Network), held its second networking event, this time during Diversity Week at A+E Networks. Read more.

Summer Intern Orientation


THF welcomed 100 students to its 2016 summer intern class, the largest group ever, and hosted 85 of them at the highly anticipated 2 1/2-day orientation. For a closer look at our amazing interns and speakers, please view our orientation video: 



Record number of THF alumni advance careers in media industry
 

This year alone,  69 THF Internship Program alumni have established or advanced their careers in the media and entertainment industry at companies including A+E Networks, AMC Networks, BBC Worldwide, NBCUniversal, ESPN, Turner Broadcasting System, USA Today and Viacom.

An additional 33 THF alumni are seeing success in other industries at such organizations as Gallup, Capgemini Consulting, Sabre Corporation, Samsung and Smithsonian Institution .

Disney hosts THF alumni mixer at The Walt Disney Studios


THF interns, alumni and staff were hosted by THF board member Ben Pyne, at a reception at Disney Studios' Legends Plaza in Burbank. The reception was preceded by a tour of the sets of "Code Black" and "black-ish."

Disney's talent acquisition and diversity staff were also present at the networking reception.
