Due to the pandemic, handshakes, business lunches, on-site teaming, hugs and in-person meetings have been replaced by social distancing, face masks, video conferencing, virtual events and work-from-home arrangements. Business as usual has been replaced by a COVID-19-driven new normal.

The Monmouth County Planning Board announced the recipients of their 2020 Merit Award. T&M's Seawall Reconstruction in Sea Bright and Monmouth Beach, NJ, was recognized for Resiliency. The project required a coordinated effort to undertake multiple government jurisdictions, agencies and stakeholders to improve coastal resiliency from the effects of climate change and storm events through the repair and reconstruction of the seawall. The first quarter of 2021 is here. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has adopted amendments to the New Jersey Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) rules to establish a maximum contaminant level (MCL) for perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and an MCL for perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS). These new requirements will affect ALL community and non-transient non-community water systems starting in the first quarter of 2021. T&M’s experienced PFAS team is familiar with the proposed amendment and has developed a summary of these changes. MORE HERE
