Recently, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a proposal to strengthen a key national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) for fine particle pollution, also known as PM2.5, to better protect communities, including those most overburdened by pollution. The effect of this change is that some areas of the country will no longer be meeting the national ambient air quality standards for PM2.5, and will have to go through a more detailed air permitting process. Representing T&M at the Lehigh Valley Business ceremony, where we celebrated the 2nd year in a row that T&M has been chosen as a Best Place to Work in PA.
Members of the Associates Program and the Senior Leadership Team presented status updates on corporate initiatives, discussed 2023 business plans and enjoyed a year-end social gathering.
Ellie Kern volunteered at the Columbus Barnett Center, where she gave a presentation about chickens to the children. After the presentation, the kids met, fed and pet live chickens!
