BHS 2020 Choir Seniors to Appear on Seattle Channel’s “City Stream”

Get out your tissues--The 2020 seniors from the various BHS choirs' rendition of “For Good” from Wicked by Stephen Schwartz, performed at the class of 2020 virtual graduation, will be featured on Seattle Channel’s City Stream Show, Thursday, Dec 8 at 7 p.m on the Seattle Channel. It will close out the show, so will run toward the end of the 30-minute program.

The show’s producer, Norm Ohashi, who calls the performance “uplifting and beautiful,” says, “I’ve been looking for an opportunity to air the incredible ‘Senior Song’ performed by your Ballard HS Choir during the 2020 BHS virtual graduation.…This has been such a challenging year, anything that brings joy is a very good thing. Each time I watch it, it's so uplifting and makes me smile!”

Looking for Band performances from Spaghetti Dinner

The Spaghetti Dinner will be reimagined this year (save the date of Feb. 6) and the team is searching for band video footage from the 2019 and 2020 Spaghetti Dinners. We have plenty of recent and near-recent footage from the choir groups, orchestra, fiddlers, and playmakers/theatre groups, but we could use Spaghetti Dinner footage from 2019 or 2020 concert band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, and Jazz I and Jazz II bands.

Email your videos to gsemroc@yahoo.com or if it's a large file, share it via google drive or dropbox.
This Week’s Holiday Throwback

Missing the holiday concerts? Enjoy “Waltz of the Flowers” from The Nutcracker, performed by the 2014 Chamber Orchestra.
