October parent support session topic:

How raising a kiddo with T1D impacts our relationships
This month we're talking about family dynamics and the way caring for a child with type 1 diabetes affects relationships all around us, from marriages and co-parents to extended families. Bring questions and stories about your experiences. Licensed psychologist Dr. Amy Stoeber will answer your questions and guide the discussion.

Dr. Amy is a psychologist whose current work involves promoting resilience for families, healthcare entities, schools, businesses and individuals. She is a keynote speaker, consultant, coach and mentor to families, healthcare leaders, teachers and businesses. She speaks and trains on local and national levels, and is endorsed in early childhood mental health and pediatric health. She serves as a member of the Healthcare Reform Taskforce for the Oregon Psychological Association. Learn more about Dr. Amy here.

This "Hope-mongering" parent support session is October 21 at 7pm, hosted on Zoom.
Below is a short promo from our pervious session, "Back to School," with Laura Keller from the ADA. Sometimes the sessions feel like a presentation, sometimes an interview, sometimes a panel, but always a conversation.
