A CT ROAD MASTER ELECTIVE WORKSHOP
In this workshop, participants will learn proper flagging techniques and the responsibilities of a flagger in a work zone. This course satisfies the ATSSA Flagger Certification curriculum. Satisfactory completion of this course certifies participants for four (4) years and places them on ATSSA’s national registry. A certification card will be mailed to you upon your successful completion of this course.
Who Should Attend
This program is designed for any personnel who are involved in flagging in a work zone and would like to earn their ATSSA Flagger Certification.
Course Instructors
Scott Zinke is a Research Engineer at the Connecticut Transportation Institute. He conducts research for the Connecticut Advanced Pavement Laboratory and provides technical assistance and training for the Training and Technical Assistance Center. Scott is an American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Certified Flagger, Traffic Control Technician, Traffic Control Supervisor and Flagger Instructor. Scott is also certified to teach the Federal Highway Administration endorsed “Road Safety Fundamentals” course.
Bill Eyberse is the Lead Instructor of Signal 54 Training and has been teaching for the T2 Center since 2002. Bill has over 30 years experience in transportation. He conducts training across the region on operational safety and winter maintenance techniques. Bill is an American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) Certified Flagger, Traffic Control Technician, Traffic Control Supervisor and Flagger Instructor.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: The registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received 48 hours prior to the start of the program. Registrants who are unable to attend and do not cancel in advance are subject to the registration fee. Substitutions may be made at any time. Please notify us of changes.
