Technical Assistance (TA) Menu of Services
For over 20 years, early learning professional registries have evolved to become the core infrastructure for professional development systems. Today, registries have grown to provide over 20 different functions across the varied landscape of professional development and career supports. The National Workforce Registry Alliance (NWRA) supports the Early Care and Education (ECE) & Out-of-School Time (OST) Workforce by strengthening data quality and establishing professional development system standards for workforce development.
We provide TA services and support to state Professional Development Systems (PDS) and Registries seeking to strengthening their data collection and career pathway functions to adequately inform policy and investments for the early childhood and out-of-school time workforce. The NWRA understands each state is distinct and as such, these services are customized to the specific goals, and objectives of the state’s ECE PDS and/or workforce data system.
As a non-profit membership organization, we are powered by subject matter experts that provide networking opportunities, information and resources, updates, recommendations, and calls to action. We are committed to supporting states with increased workforce inclusion, creating a deeper sense of professional belonging resulting in stronger representation, and effective policy decision making and investments. We are currently holding space in 2024 and 2025 to contract with states in two areas:
1) Workforce Data Access & Quality
- Data Audit : Evaluation of workforce data collection and a set of clear recommendations to strengthen registry data quality for increased use by state policymakers, funders, and professional development system partners.
2) Member Support & TA: Career Pathways
- Career Pathways Research, Analysis and Recommendations
- Career Pathways Design & Implementation
3) Strengthen Equity Accountability (Shared Services)
- Foreign Transcript Evaluation Services
- Spanish Translation
- Marketing and Public Awareness
- Self-evaluation and planning tool
