Mayyim Hayyim Damaged by Flooding
Funds Needed

Mayyim Hayyim, the beloved mikveh in Newton which has been the site of so many significant and sacred moments for Temple Ahavat Achim families, suffered significant property damage due to burst pipes and flooding during the recent cold snap. If you are able to contribute to this tzedakah fund for repairs, your support would be greatly appreciated.

JOIN THE CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22 10:30 @ TAA

The Caregivers Support Group meets at 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the first Wednesday of the month in Wenham at the Senior Center (lunch provided) and on the last Wednesday, at the Temple (with light refreshments.) The group is led by a social worker and is open to all in the Cape Ann community who need a place to discuss issues related to caring for a loved one with mental and/or physical needs. All discussions are confidential.

Do you want to strengthen ECCO’s work to promote affordable housing, immigrant rights, police reform, or other issues? This training teaches the principles of community organizing from a faith-based perspective.

The TAA Program Committee is planning a Spring Garden Tour on
Sunday May 21! If you have a spring garden with plantings of bulbs, spring perennials, and/or spring flowering shrubs and trees and would like to participate in the tour, please contact, Maya at the TAA Office. For Questions, contact Cynthia Kaplan. We are also planning a program on garden sustainability and container gardening in late April.

MahJong on Thursdays at 1-3pm starting March 30th
At this time we will not be teaching, but if you have played before, please register. If these times do not work, register with a note on when works for you.

The Mt. Jacob Cemetery Committee is looking for volunteers to lovingly assist in laying to rest community members. Because this mitzvah is performed on short notice, we need a large reserve of potential helpers who can assist on any given day. Qualifications include having a relatively flexible schedule and being minimally able-bodied. For more information,
