There are widespread news reports about the severity of the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. Full knowledge of the damage is still unknown, and recovery will take months, if not years.
We want to take a moment to acknowledge the effect of the storm on the agricultural community. This article from Bloomberg, updated Sunday, highlights the damage to Texas crops, particularly cotton, caused by Hurricane Harvey. You can read the story here.
The USDA has resources available for those affected by flooding, and they can be found here.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by this historic storm.
