Note from TABB State President:

Dear Board Members, Members, and Affiliates of TABB,

Thank you for your trust and support in electing me as President of TABB. I am both honored and excited to serve in this role.

As we step into 2025, TABB is embracing change. We are revamping our outdated website to ensure easier access to the benefits available to you. Additionally, we are updating our mission statement to better reflect our core values and principles. This newsletter is just one step in our efforts to enhance communication with our members.

We are also refining our onboarding process, increasing initial membership commitments, and evaluating ways to improve our meetings, whether through more engaging content, better food and drink, or even a new location. Expanding our social time will allow for stronger networking opportunities among members and guests.

Our annual September Conference will take place in either Fort Worth or Dallas this year. Based on past experiences, we are implementing improvements to enhance the experience for participants, sponsors, and speakers alike.

Furthermore, our merger with IBBA will bring valuable educational opportunities, training, and additional benefits to our members.

I want to extend my appreciation to our past President for the incredible work that has brought us to this point. Our board of directors and I are committed to building on that momentum to serve you even better.

Success in our profession depends on a strong community, and our meetings bring together the very best dealmakers in the field. Thank you for being an integral part of this network and for your continued support of TABB.

Code of Ethics of the Texas Association of Business Brokers

In the dynamic world of business brokerage, integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct form the foundation of lasting success. The Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB) has long championed these principles, ensuring that both buyers and sellers experience fair, transparent, and trustworthy transactions. To uphold this commitment, the TABB Board of Directors has enacted a comprehensive Code of Ethics, which is now an integral part of the association's bylaws. This code establishes uniform standards of conduct for all members, reinforcing our dedication to ethical business practices. Below, we outline the key articles that guide every business broker within our association.

Code of Ethics

These Standards were enacted by the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Business Brokers and are a part of the bylaws of the association. This code is for use by all members of the association as a means of establishing a uniform standard of conduct for business brokers.
