TACK: Fall Classic + Mixed Winners

Join TACK for its yearly USTA members-only fall tournament, Friday-Sunday, Oct. 18-20, once again hosted by Top Seed Tennis Club.

Per your request ( thanks to everyone who responded to our player survey!), we've returned to the traditional format of two 6-games sets + 10-point Coman tiebreaker (if needed) for all matches.

We're accepting Men Singles/Doubles 2.5-5.0; Women Singles/Doubles 2.0-5.0; Mixed Doubles 6.0-9.0 (combined ratings). Friday matches will be played evening only, as needed. Registration is $35/Singles, $25/Doubles. Play is outdoors unless the weather turns bad! Contact TACK tournament coordinator Mike Howard for questions/requests.

Deadline for registration is midnight Monday, Oct. 14.

Congratulations, Team Hutchens, 40+/7.0 Mixed State Champions! + Local Mixed Winners

With only 7 team members able to go to Bowling Green, Team Hutchens still went undefeated for the tournament, winning a slot at the USTA Regionals in Little Rock. Congrats to all TACK teams who went to Bowling Green!

Captain's Corner

Attention, Combo League Captains: The deadline for completion of all local combo league matches was Sunday, Sept. 22 . The deadline for registration of qualifying teams for the State Championship Oct. 3-6 is Wednesday, Sept. 25. That's 2 days from now!

Not sure your team qualified?

2-5 teams: top 2 qualify
6+ teams: top 3 qualify

Chances are you know if your team made it, but teams often drop out, so check with League Coordinator Leslie Russ!
