Summer Leagues!
This summer, besides Mixed and Combo, TACK has two more adult leagues for your playing pleasure. Both are "fun leagues" (no advancement possibilities, does not impact NTRP ratings), so just come out and play, meet new players, have fun!
Singles League
As we come into the summer doubles season (mixed, combo), what's a singles player to do? Singles League! We're still working out exactly how this will go, and welcome your input (contact Dee -- see below). But the focus will be social: we'll have a fixed day of the week for play, with reschedules possible. And, of course, fun! Registration opens April 20.
50+ Daytime League
This brand new league supports more experienced players available for daytime play during the week. Ratings categories will include 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5, as demand requires. Three courts of doubles per match. Registration opens Monday, April 15.

Captain's Corner
Mixed Doubles Team Size:
It's hard to know where to cap team rosters. With a small team, everybody gets to play a lot. A large team provides more flexibility and a better chance at fielding a team for State Championships. USTA generally recommends 2 more players than twice a match roster count -- for mixed, that's 2 + 2 X 6, or 14, probably a good place to start. The smart money in a summer league (where personal schedules can be all over the map) is to start small-ish, then poll your team members for availability after the schedule is released, and recruit as needed. There are always players looking for teams!
