Tri-Level Registration Opens Saturday!
For a reminder about the format of this league, see our
Dec. 13, 2018 newsletter. It's a single weekend,
and a lot of fun! Here are the dates:
- Midnight, Saturday, Jan. 5: Registration opens.
- Wednesday, Jan. 30: Initial Roster Deadline -- you must have 6 players registered covering all 3 levels of your team ("play-up's" count).
- Thursday, Feb. 7 through Sunday, Feb. 10: League play. Matches begin Thursday evening if needed.
- Friday, Aug. 9 through Sunday, Aug. 11: State Championship. Check your calendar now! Since flights are usually small, a lot of teams qualify!

TACK New Player Clinic!
In partnership with the
Bluegrass Racquet Club, TACK will again sponsor a new player clinic for new/returning tennis players from
3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, January 27. Attendees will get time with a tennis pro, light food, and a chance to meet TACK officers and learn about league play opportunities for the coming year.

Adult/"Fun League" Teams Looking for Players
The following teams are still looking for players:
- Adult 18+/3.5 (both Women and Men)
- Adult 18+/4.5 Men
- Adult 40+/3.0 Men
- *"Fun League" 18+/4.0 Women
Registration is still open for these and all other Session 1 flights.
* A reminder, "Fun League" is a good play-up opportunity in addition to your regular Adult League team play, since results are not counted towards NTRP ratings.

Captain's Corner
From Jeffrey Jones: "Tri-Level is an odd bird, since you have to recruit 3 levels of players. 3 players per level (9 total) is probably a team minimum, though having willing "play up" players helps. For example, a 3.5/4.0/4.5 Tri-Level team with only one or two 4.5's, but with 4 or 5 4.0's, can easily cover matches.
But watch out for conflicts
-- players on multiple teams can create size/roster issues!"
