Tri-Level League in Summer 2021
TACK's Tri-Level League is typically held indoors on a single weekend in February. However, this year due to the pandemic, we realized this simply would not work. The TACK Board and Local League Coordinators (LLCs) are looking at dates to hold Tri-Level this summer, and hope to release more information soon.

For those who have never played Tri-Level, this fun, competitive doubles league allows you to play on a team/s consisting of 3 or more NTRP levels. Example, one 3.0 doubles, one 3.5 doubles and one 4.0 doubles = Tri-Level.
Meet the Board: Lisa Ezell Allen
How long have you been playing tennis, and what got you started?
I have been playing tennis since 2010. A friend dragged me to a clinic at the Signature Club in Lexington- I had little interest in the sport and was a dedicated runner at the time. After a few weeks, I was hooked. Several of the women from the clinic put together a 2.5 team. Within a year, I was playing tennis several times each week and the running went on the back shelf. Many of those women from our first team still play together on teams and for fun.

What is your favorite league to play in and why?
Mixed league is my favorite.

What do you enjoy/look forward to about volunteering for TACK?
I enjoy working with other TACK members to improve the tennis experience for current players and to help grow the game in the Lexington area.

If you could attend one of the four grand slams, which would you choose, and why?
I would attend Wimbledon, if I really had to choose. I love the history of Wimbledon tennis and the weather is pretty great for sitting in the stands!

If you could be any piece of household furniture, what would you be and why?
I'd be a wooden side table. Its multi-purpose, is more likely to move around the house a bit over time, and can be refinished to look like new!
Let's play tennis in 2021!
