COVID-19 News/Updates, Play Opportunities
Itching to play? Here's the latest!
TACK Adult League: We're still planning for a June 1 restart of Adult League Session 2, but we're waiting on decisions on a few influencing factors (including USTA KY -- see above). Cross your fingers! As soon as that's decided, we'll send updates, including league play procedures reflecting "social distancing."
Public Courts: Per Lexington Parks and Rec, public court nets were scheduled to be put up today/Monday, May 11. Let us know (on FaceBook) if you see them in your area!
Private Clubs: The following Lexington area clubs responded to my queries for play moving forward. All will have new State-mandated procedures in place for safe play.
Outdoor courts and private lessons are available at LTC mornings through May. Indoor reopening is planned for June 1. Check with
Brooks Lundy for updates.
Top Seed is planning for a June 1 opening of both indoor and outdoor courts. They're closed for May.
Jon Sanders has the latest.
Bluegrass is also planning for a June 1 opening of their facility, and are closed for May. Contact
Jonathan Thompson for more.

Upcoming Dates:
All upcoming dates have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and so are subject to change.
City courts are open! (At least, they say!) Time to get that team back out and playing. LFUCG Parks & Rec have promised to post USTA COVID-19 safety rules (click here to read them) -- make sure you know them and use them. Be good stewards -- if players abuse things, the City might pull nets back down if they're deemed a nuisance.
And, a reminder, contact your team, see who's ready to play in June!
