This week's Talking with TAD is dedicated to our down-ballot candidates. Races for county and local offices are "the bench" of the Republican Party of Texas and more importantly, the government officials who have the most direct impact on the lives of voters. Join me in a conversation with Steve Atwell and Fred Tate, two important Texas leaders involved in what is known as the Republican Party of Texas' Candidate Resource Committee (CRC).
The CRC is a program dedicated to raising money for down-ballot races. Candidates apply for donations from the CRC which meets regularly to decide how to allocate funds. Every dollar is precious in these races so your donation can go a long way.
Beginning this weekend (Aug 14-Aug 23) the CRC will be having a fundraising auction and I encourage you to consider supporting it.
As you know there is no straight ticket voting this year, so now it's more important than ever to highlight our down-ballot candidates, and they need your help!
