RNC Statement on Juneteenth
“Today, we join cities and communities across our country to celebrate Juneteenth. This joyous event honors the day when news of President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation finally made it to those enslaved Americans in Galveston, TX, marking the end of slavery in the United States. The Republican Party will always proudly be connected to Juneteenth because we have always been the party of freedom and opportunity thanks to President Lincoln and now President Trump. While the first Juneteenth 155 years ago meant the scourge of slavery had finally been lifted in America, the struggle for civil rights and to fully realize our founding ideals as a nation was only just beginning, work that continues to this day. As we pray for healing and unity during this present time of unrest, let each of us also dedicate ourselves to doing our part to create a ‘more perfect union,’ and let Juneteenth serve as a source of inspiration of what we can achieve when we appeal to the better angels of our nature and unite in the fight for freedom, justice and opportunities for every American.” – RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel
As America Reopens, President Trump hits the Campaign Trail
The enthusiasm gap between President Trump and Sleepy Joe Biden continues to grow.
We are moving closer to November and the enthusiasm gap between President Trump and Joe Biden couldn’t be any clearer. Tomorrow night, President Trump will hold a Keep America Great rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For the first time since the coronavirus pandemic, President Trump will address his supporters in person. The enthusiasm for the event is through the roof with over 1 million RSVPs and thousands camped out outside the venue for days. The Trump campaign is taking safety precautions and will provide rally-goers with hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and masks. Oklahomans know President Trump has delivered for them. During the coronavirus pandemic, nearly 1.8 million Oklahomans received Economic Impact Payments totaling more than $3.1 billion in relief. FEMA provided federal support (totaling over $25 million) and much needed PPE to the state during the pandemic. Before our economy was artificially halted by the coronavirus pandemic, Oklahoma added 53,600 jobs -including over 6,600 manufacturing jobs - during the President’s first three years in office. Before our record economic success was artificially halted by a global pandemic, the state’s unemployment rate had fallen to 2.9% in March. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act delivered real results to Oklahoma workers, businesses, and families. The average tax cut was more than $1,300 and over the next decade, more than 13,700 jobs will be added as a result of the legislation. Oklahomans supported President Trump in 2016 and will do so again on November 3.

President Trump Signs EO Improving Community Policing
As President Trump promotes law and order, Joe Biden continues to allow Democrats to call for lawlessness.
President Trump has made law and order a key theme in his efforts to safely, rapidly, and smartly reopen our economy. On Tuesday, President Trump signed his 'Safe Policing for Safe Communities' Executive Order in the Rose Garden. After listening to leaders and advocates, the president is prioritizing law, order, fairness, and justice, in practical ways:
- Certification and Credentialing: Police Departments will be incentivized to provide de-escalation training, build early warning systems to identify personnel issues, and reform use-of-force standards.
- Information Sharing: Transparency leads to accountability. Police Departments will be required to report on cases of officers engaging in excessive force that have been fully adjudicated in order to receive federal grants.
- Mental Health, Homelessness, and Addiction: The DOJ and HHS will promote co-responder programs that pair police and social workers, providing law enforcement additional resources for challenging encounters.
- Legislation and Additional Grant Programs: The Trump administration will work with Congress to provide additional resources to recruit and retain the best officers, more programs to build up community relationships, and offer mental health services for officers.

Bolton Tries to Salvage His Image
John Bolton has gone from fired war hawk to lying author.
Disgraced former White House Adviser John Bolton has decided to lash out and lie about President Trump in an effort to salvage his image. Bolton is a disgruntled former employee who was removed from office over fundamental policy disagreements with President Trump. He signed a book deal in an effort to salvage his image. The allegations Bolton makes in his book do not square with the extensive praise Bolton gave toward President Trump and his decision making.
