"Rooted in Environmental Education"
40th Annual Conference
September 24 & 25, 2021
Help celebrate TAEE's 40th year in service to
Environmental Educators
September 24 & 25, 2021

Hello Everyone!

Join us for our 40th year anniversary as TAEE continues to serve environmental educators through our annual conference. Our conference theme this year is "Rooted in Environmental Education." TAEE has decided to go mostly virtual with the conference, however there will be several opportunities for attendees to get together in person with those who live in their region. Like everyone else, we can't wait until we can see you all at our conference in person once again!

If you have any questions about presenting at the conference or how you can help us with finding venues for our Friday night film or field trips, contact Linda Dunn at ldunn@wetlandcenter.com or Kevin Wickersham kwicke@hotmail.com.
Want to help with the conference? See below...
Call for Proposals for 40th Annual TAEE Conference
With our presentation portion of the conference virtual, you can present from wherever you are. Please consider sharing with your fellow attendees what you have been doing to further EE in the classroom, in the field and/or personally!
What have you been doing in the classroom that has it's beginnings in EE, is a great activity incorporating EE or made a huge change in you or your students because of it's EE roots? Click on the link below for more presentation ideas and the details about the sessions.
NEEDED! Friday Night Film Venues
Friday night at the movies is always a good time! We are looking for different venues across the state that could host a small group of people to watch a film connected with our theme "Rooted in Environmental Education. It could be held anywhere - a library, nature center, classroom - anywhere that has a screen the movie can be projected on. Let us know you are interested in hosting a Friday Night movie.
Everyone Loves a Field Trip!
Although we will have concurrent virtual sessions Saturday afternoon, we wanted to offer those who are comfortable doing so an opportunity to get together and network - a huge part of TAEE! We are attempting to provide 2-3 field trips in each region to give people an opportunity to get together. If you have some ideas for field trips in your region or would like to host a field trip, click on the link below.
