HB1828 will be heard in Subcommittee

on Tuesday, January 21st

Take Action on HB1828 to Eliminate Out-Of-Pocket Costs for Diagnostic & Supplemental Breast Imaging

Pushed from last week, VBCF's priority legislation, HB1828, will now be heard at the General Assembly in the House Labor & Committee subcommittee tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, January 21st. If you have not already taken action, please help support this bill ASAP!!

HB1828 will eliminate the high out-of-pocket costs (co-pays, co-insurance or deductibles) that many patients face when getting follow-up diagnostic or supplemental breast imaging - including diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). By removing the financial barriers to medically necessary follow-up breast imaging, HB1828 ensures that no one faces the impossible choice between their health and their finances. For more information about the bill see: HB1828 FACT SHEET
