The University of Louisville Trager Institute is hosting a free, comprehensive virtual information session that will address pressing questions about COVID-19, with particular focus on older adults and individuals with chronic diseases.

The Kentucky Association of Manufacturers issued a member alert for this webinar which will discuss the bill’s provisions, its ramifications, and how employers can comply if it becomes law.

In an effort to boost the government’s response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act on Saturday, an economic stimulus plan aimed at addressing the impact of COVID-19 on Americans. It includes many provisions which apply to employers, such as paid sick leave for employees impacted by COVID-19 and those serving as caregivers for individuals with COVID-19.  

This webinar will discuss the bill’s provisions, its ramifications, and how employers can comply if it becomes law.

Looking Ahead>Join TALK April 24 to Review Cybersecurity Policies & Training to Help You Now That Many Are Working Online
A TALK Initiative with the CyberReadiness Institute--All Working Professionals in Kentuckiana can learn more about Cybersecurity Policies that can help you avoid malware, viruses, and other work stoppages....This entire training, over a period of weeks, will be at no cost.

The first session will be conducted online as a dialin on April 24 at 2 PM for one hour to begin the first session of the Cyber Readiness Institute curriculum that we will cover live and/or via podcasts. Make sure you are in front of your laptop for this session.
Dates and availability of online content will be announced for further sessions at that time. The goal is for each participant to complete the online Cyber Readiness Institute curriculum and receive their certification in the form of a badge for their website or group use. On April 24, we will have the dates available to login or attend live to hear about key subjects as we work through the curriculum over several sessions. This is for all types of workers, whether those working remotely from large corporations, or small businesses.
