To advance our vision of a modern Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, we would like to share these resources and graphics; please feel free to use the samples below to support you in your endeavors.

In our TANF Social Media Toolkit, we have included sample language for social media and newsletters. We of course welcome you to create your own content if desired, and if you would like, tag us with @APHSA1 when posting to social media. We also invite you to use the hashtags #TANFNorthStar and #TANFat25.

APHSA has established a set of TANF Modernization Core Principles to guide our vision for the future of TANF. Our TANF Map of Core Principles includes our values of equity, inclusion, and the limitless possibilities of Human Potential, illustrated as a North Star. Grounded in these Core Principles, APHSA’s members have laid out our Core Principles for TANF Modernization: A Legislative Framework for TANF Reform as the newest addition to this body of work.

We've included graphics below and have provided individual images sized for email and social media, including an unbranded version of the Core Principles Map, which you may add your agencies branding to as appropriate. Additionally, we've provided sample, unbranded Powerpoint slides for your use, and a research matrix mapping key pieces of research to our Core Principles and our Legislative Framework.
