The Ruth R. Legg Memorial Scholarship is awarded by TANYS to a high school senior who has been active in community theatre and is accepted as a Theatre major/minor at an accredited college or university.

The scholarship honors Ruth, a former TANYS President and Roving Adjudicator, and carries on her tradition of promoting students interested in theatre.
