We are happy to announce that G.P.M. Federal Credit Union has merged with Texas Associations of Professionals Federal Credit Union (TAP FCU). On December 19, 2023, G.P.M. FCU members voted overwhelmingly in favor of the merger which became effective as of December 31, 2023.
On January 2, 2024, we began assisting our new members at our TAP FCU office and via our online banking platform. This merger is a "win-win" for G.P.M. FCU members, as well as our existing members. Our newest member-owners will enjoy the broader range of financial products, state-of-the-art services, and increased accessibility that TAP FCU provides, while receiving a personalized service experience. For existing members, the merger is another clear indication that TAP FCU continues to be a robust and viable provider of your financial services, with the scale required to thrive in today's competitive financial landscape.
G.P.M. Federal Credit Union was formed in 1970, held over 1 million in assets and served over 100 members that are current and former employees of GPM Life Insurance Company.
