Happy New Year, Friends!
Thank you for sharing in the TAPH story as you help provide experiences for homeless men and women in Houston to create and encounter art that offers healing, joy, vitality and hope.
We appreciate every generous investment of talents, finances, time and in-kind donations. The joy each gift offers participants of TAPH is priceless.
In addition to the art healing programs we provide for the homeless men and women of Houston, we have some exciting new art opportunities and events planned for the general public in 2012. These are opportunities for YOU to tap into your creative spirit, experience the joy of creating and support a great project!
Starting Tuesday, February 7, we will be offering The Artist Way class for the general public. This class will meet once a week at St. John's Downtown for 6-weeks. Come and recover your creativity and start your New Year creatively, or to make a gift and help a great program. Cost is $25 a week totaling $150. You can register online today to reserve your seat today!
Also, please save the date for our second annual FUNdraiser October 13, 2012 Prescription:Paint! Visit the TAPH Exhibitions/Events page for Prescription:Paint 2012 to learn more.
Join us as we share art created by TAPH student artists Saturday, January 21 (6-10pm) for Art in Motion: "Poverty in America Awareness" at ISIS Houston and Sunday, January 29 for 5th Sunday Art at St. John's Downtown in Room 127 following all three services. You can learn more about each opportunity below.
Hope you will join us and continue BELIEVING with us in 2012!
