TOMORROW! Fair Housing in your Neighborhood – How to be an Agent of Change

Every April, the National Association of REALTORS® observes Fair Housing Month to commemorate the landmark 1968 Fair Housing Act in which U.S. law was established to prohibit discrimination in housing. Fair Housing Month signifies a recommitment to expanding equal access to housing. Join NAR staff experts Alexia Smokler and Bryan Greene as they demystify local advocacy and outline real ways that you can make an impact. During the session, they will discuss best practices for approaching local initiatives and spotlight resources, opportunities, including NAR grant support, and actions you can take to advance fair housing. Register here today.
ADVOCACY IN ACTION
Our Candidate and Ballot Measures Task Force recently met to consider a request from Tucson Mayor Regina Romero to support the Yes on Prop 411 link here and consider a requested $25,000 contribution be made to that campaign. In that meeting, motions were carried to:
  • Support Proposition 411 CLICK HERE.
  • Contribute $25,000 to the campaign.

Tucson members, remember to vote in the Special Election on May 17, 2022, to support Prop. 411.
