Risk Tip: Agent Safety Tips
Agent Safety Tips are given as best practices to keep you safe. These Safety Tips are not meant to scare you or dissuade you from your regular real estate activities, but to make you aware. There is no single precaution that should be taken, rather you should layer multiple precautions to best protect yourself. These safety practices apply to all agents, regardless of age, gender, size, etc. Safety precautions should always be taken.
This tip is not legal advice. It should not be a substitute for advice from professional counsel or the assistance provided by an agent's Designated Broker.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Tucson Association of REALTORS®'s Housing Opportunities Committee's "Making the Move...Start Where You Are" Housing Conference held at the Reid Park Zoo in November.

Look at the overview of the weekend's success!

  • 17 Agencies/Organizations/Businesses exhibited and provided information and resources, plus the Pima County Health Department and Face Painter (which was very popular).
  • 190 attendees with a wristband; these participants came specifically to the Zoo to attend the conference.
  • Over 250 goodie bags distributed; these bags were given to each of the wristband wearers and people already at the Zoo who wanted to attend. We also had people come through the event after we ran out of bags.
  • 150 attendees completed a “Passport Sheet” and participated in our raffles.

Stay tuned for 2023 plans. And if you are interested in joining us, please email jolene@tucsonrealtors.org

Thank you to our colleagues in the City of Tucson's Department of Housing and Community Development and Pima County's Department of Community Workforce and Development. We are grateful for your support and collaboration in bringing this event to life and look forward to our continued efforts.
