PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
Dear Members,

I hope our members all enjoyed their Passover or Easter holidays along with the nice Spring weather that comes our way. Just seeing those tulips and daffodils poking through the ground shows the resilience of nature.

I guess we could say the same for all of us who have endured and are now getting our vaccines so we can show our resilience as well. Most of us can't wait to start living our lives again along with traveling and hoping our livelihoods also show a great resurgence too.

We are so excited to finally return to holding a live meeting at Shandon Court for April. TASC will be sponsoring this meeting to bring us all together. Our valued suppliers are welcome to address the membership with any updates or news that they may have for a bit more time then we usually give them. We will also have several surprises during the evening.

TASC finally has a complete Board of Directors! If you were on our Zoom meeting last month you saw me install Gavin Simmons from Sandals as the Director Affiliate. Welcome to Gavin, glad to have you on the board.

Hope to see as many of you as possible to join us for dinner on the 14th of April.

Respectfully,
Susan Bonesso

Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

The CDC has announced that fully vaccinated people can travel within the U.S., without getting tested for the coronavirus or quarantining. For international travel, the agency says vaccinated people do not need to get a Covid-19 test before leaving, though some destinations may require it.
Vaccinated people should still get a negative Covid-19 test before boarding a flight to the U.S., and be tested 3 to 5 days after returning. They do not need to quarantine.

Airlines are gradually phasing out some of the protocols they began during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Delta has announced that they will stop blocking middle seats as of May 1st. Southwest and Jet Blue have gone back to pre-Covid boarding procedures. Several airlines have announced that they will reinstate some beverage service and snacks.

Walt Disney World Resort announced Thursday it had introduced a new Disney Dining Plan option for guests staying at qualifying hotels. The Disney Dining Plan Plus allows visitors to pre-pay for meals and eat at dining establishments throughout Disney World’s four theme parks, hotels and select locations at Disney Springs. The new plan offers guests two meals per night during their stay, redeemable at table service restaurants, quick service locations, character dining experiences or a combination to provide more flexibility.
Travelers who sign up for the plan will also be eligible for two snacks per night, one Disney Resort hotel refillable drink mug and unlimited refills at each meal. For guests 21 and older with valid ID, they will be able to enjoy a beer, wine or cocktail as well. In a significant win for visitors, unused meals and snacks roll over day-to-day.
