PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
Dear Members,

We were so disappointed we had to cancel last month's cruise night and dinner presentation at the last minute due to the weather forecast. However, we are pleased to say we have rebooked most of the cruise suppliers plus possibly a few new ones for our July 13th meeting.

Our April meeting will finally feature multi-rep Stan Enden presenting his varied travel companies. Stan is always a crowd favorite, hope you will join us for his presentation.

We will be announcing the new slate of nominees for the TASC board at this month's meeting.

TASC would like to wish our members a Happy Easter as well as a Happy Passover.

Respectfully,
Susan Bonesso

Never trouble another for what you can do for yourself.

American Cruise Lines (ACL) is offering guests a post-cruise excursion package to three of the most iconic national parks in the American West if they take the company's river cruise in the Pacific Northwest this summer.
The package is a first for ACL but over time is expected to be followed by similar offerings in other parts of the country. The visits to three parks (on the 7 night extension) -- Yellowstone, Glacier and Grand Teton -- are coupled with ACL's seven-day cruise on the Columbia and Snake rivers along the Washington-Oregon border. ACL's tour extension comes in a three-night version, priced at $1,700 per person, and a seven-night version, at $3,900 per person. Agent commission on the land packages is 5%.
The shorter, three-night version of the tour includes visits to Coeur d'Alene and Glacier.
ACL opened its U.S. season on Feb. 26 with river cruises along the lower Mississippi and in Florida and a coastal cruise from Charleston, S.C., to Florida's Amelia Island. The line's 15 ships all got upgrades during the two-month offseason.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises has recently partnered with Priceline to offer a hotel booking engine to their guests and agents for pre or post cruise hotels. No word on whether these sites will pay commission to agents. TASC has sent an inquiry to RCCL for them to answer this question.

Disney World has announced that their Guardians of the Galaxy roller coaster will debut in EPCOT on May 27th.
Also announced was this year's International Food & Wine festival also at EPCOT kicks off July 14th and runs through November 19th.
