TASC's December 11th Holiday Party

MEADOWEDGE AT THE MANSION AT WEST SAYVILLE, MONTAUK HIGHWAY, W. SAYVILLE

The party will begin at 6:30PM and run until 10:30PM. We will be having a cocktail hour with Hors d ’oeuvres, a deluxe sit down dinner with open bar, musical entertainment
and dancing along with a visit from Santa

We will again be accepting donations of new unwrapped toys at our Holiday Party. PLEASE remember to bring yours with you. Cash or check donations will also be accepted.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Members,
The holiday’s have arrived. We had a great November meeting with Barbara Canizio giving us a terrific presentation on the Globus Family of Brands along with having a Turkey Dinner and Pumpkin Pie in celebration of Thanksgiving. I also hope each of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving, sharing it with family, friends and other loved ones. 

Now it is on to Hanukkah and Christmas, once again sharing it with family and friends. It is a great time of year and I want to wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas. May it be filled with love and joy and may everyone have a safe Holiday.

December 11 th is our Annual TASC Holiday Party at Meadowedge at the Mansion at West Sayville. I hope you have made arrangements to attend. It seems to be shaping up to be a fantastic event. The venue promises to be one where you can have an enjoyable conversation at your table and you can waltz onto the dance floor when you feel like dancing. It is sure to be a festive occasion for all. Hope to see everyone there. And don’t forget to bring a new unwrapped toy for our annual toy drive.

One thing I often heard while serving on the Board from the Past President’s over the years is “I cannot believe how quick time goes by.” Well, it is true. Soon, I will be serving out the last six months of my term and yes, time went by quickly. 

In closing, I do ask every TASC member to take the time and think about running for a Board Position. Your input will help keep this organization strong. Yes, you spend extra time, but it is time well spent. When I first became a member of TASC, I asked what I can do to be a part of this organization. I have always been a person (regardless of the organization) looking to see what I could do to help. Helping out is a great way to shape the Organization you belong to. The Board needs new members. This is not just often heard words. Under our current By-Laws, it is going to be hard in filling certain positions in the future years. Thus, making it difficult to keep running this organization as it should be. You need to be part of the Board and learn how this organization runs. One cannot just step up to bat and take a swing at it whenever they feel like it. This is a great organization; your help will solidify the greatness for years to come.
