PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
Dear Members
Last months Cruise Round Table was a great success, so many updates and great information. As I stated in the January newsletter, the meeting would be well worth your time and it was. It was great having the eight suppliers from various cruise lines speaking about their products. I wish to thank each vendor for giving our membership some great insights into their product in such a short span of time. I know everyone enjoyed their presentation.
February meeting – Our Second Cruise Night promises to be as great as last months. We will be ,meeting with both Ocean and River Cruise representatives telling us all about their products. Again, I am sure it will be a great evening you won't want to miss it.
Thank you to all those members in attendance who voted and ratified the Amendment to our By-Laws. We all agreed it was a change our organization could use. The Board gives guidance to the way our organization runs and new ideas are needed to help keep us forward thinking. Please think of what you could add by being part of the TASC excecutive board with nominations coming soon.
Here we are into February and thank goodness there has been very little SNOW. The one word I don't like to use. The temperatures have been rather pleasant. However, not all the news is good. As Travel Consultants, we have to deal with many different crisises and now we have the the Corona Virus. We are always dealing with global issues that make travel less than a worry free experience. As Travel Consultants we have to deal with the problems as they occur and be flexible enough to adopt to these ever-changing events and keep our clients informed and calm. Hopefully this new crisis will be controlled quickly.
Spring is so close, just around the corner, very soon we will see the flowers bursting through and we will be focusing on warmer days. I for one cannot wait.
