MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
By the time this hits the presses and can be viewed by the membership, our 40th Anniversary Gala Event will be close at hand. I for one cannot wait. I am so looking forward to this. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the work the Past Presidents have done in putting this event together. They have worked very hard and I know that this event will be one of, if not the best, event ever held by TASC. The latest update I received is that we have far surpassed the number needed. Thank you to all for supporting this event. It will truly be a fantastic get together and a great way to kick off the summer. Again, the Past Presidents have knocked this out of the park.
For those who were not at last months meeting I would like to thank Fran Tabone for stepping up and becoming our Secretary for the remainder of the term. Diane Duguid unfortunately stepped down. As a Board Member she will be missed but, she will still be at our meetings.
A number of our members came up to me after last months meeting to tell me it was a great meeting. Often, the meeting centers around the individual doing the monthly presentation and Nick from Celebrity really did a great job. His knowledge and sense of humor truly added to the presentation. Thank you, Mr. Gordon from the entire TASC membership. Job well done.
Well summer is finally here. The Anniversary dinner will be the last dinner meeting until September. I wish to thank the membership for the support they have shown me during my first year as President. I wish you all to have a great and safe summer and hope that you enjoy the moments.
