Dear Members,
Since this is the month of Thanksgiving, and with our 2021 Trade show now behind us, I'm saying thanks to the agents who attended, our suppliers who exhibited and to our Past Presidents committee who worked hard to plan and execute this event. It was a huge success and everyone in attendance seemed pleased to be a part of it. Thank you to my Trade show chairperson; Jeaneane DeCicco along with Fran Raupp, Ginny DeFeo, Honey Pressgrove and Marie Foley.
This month we have Stan Enden giving the presentation for several suppliers that he reps. We also are collecting donations for our annual Thanksgiving food drive. Please plan to bring non-perishable food items, paper goods, pet supplies or personal hygiene products. Cash or checks will also be accepted.

It will be held at Shandon Court and we will be having a cocktail hour with Hors d’oeuvres, a deluxe sit down dinner with open bar, musical entertainment and more. TASC wishes it's members a Happy Thanksgiving and due to the early date this year a Happy Hanukkah as well.
See you all on November 10th!
Respectfully,
Susan Bonesso

Current Industry Affairs (CIA)
Hyatt Hotels Corp. announced the completion of its acquisition of Apple Leisure Group. ALG will operate as a distinct business unit within Hyatt under ALG president and CEO Alejandro Reynal and his current leadership team. Reynal has joined Hyatt's executive leadership team and reports to Hyatt president and CEO Mark Hoplamazian. The deal doubles Hyatt's global resort footprint with the addition of ALG's AMR Collection, which includes about 100 hotels and resorts in 10 countries along with a pipeline of 24 projects in the Americas and Europe. In addition, Hyatt has added properties in 11 new European markets and expanded its European brand footprint by 60%, according to the company.

Royal Caribbean International is entering the world of world cruises with a bang: A 274-day sailing that the brand says is the longest of its kind.
Departing Dec. 10, 2023, on the Serenade of the Seas, the Ultimate World Cruise will visit seven continents and 65 countries before ending on Sept. 10, 2024.
The Serenade will stop in more than 150 destinations, 57 that will be new to Royal Caribbean. Passengers will be able to visit 11 great wonders of the world, including Peru's Machu Picchu and the Taj Mahal in India. The ship returns to Miami on Sept. 10, 2024.
Full world cruise bookings include business-class air and an evening of festivities and accommodations at the InterContinental Miami prior to departure.
Starting in December, passengers can also book one of four world cruise segments.

The Cayman Islands, which has remained closed to most tourism since the pandemic began, will reopen to fully vaccinated travelers on Nov. 20.
The announcement signals the destination's move to Phase 4 of its reopening plan now that a large percentage of the local population is vaccinated.
All travelers must obtain approval for entry from Travel Cayman. Once approved, the verified travelers must present proof of vaccination and proof of a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours of arrival.
Vaccinated adults will not be required to quarantine on arrival, but children who are not vaccinated will not be able to come to the islands without quarantining. That rule will change once the islands move to Phase 5, the last of the phases in the reopening plan.
The Cayman Islands have followed a strict policy for a phased reopening. Certain categories of travelers were allowed entry, beginning in June 2020. These included home and villa owners, business owners, health professionals and repatriated workers.
In Phase 3, some of the quarantine restrictions were removed for those arriving on repatriation flights.
JetBlue has resumed a twice-weekly route on Tuesday and Saturdays from New York JFK to Grand Cayman. Four weekly roundtrip flights between Miami and Grand Cayman also resume Nov. 7.

Argentina reopened to vaccinated foreign travelers on 11/1/21.
Visitors who have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival and can show a negative Covid-19 PCR test result from within 72 hours of arrival can enter Argentina with no quarantine requirement.
American, Delta, United and Argentinian Airlines are all flying between the U.S. and Argentina.
