October 14 - Celebrity Chef at The Brazen Hen in Westerly

Join Celebrity Chef Marcie Brensilver, Westerly's 2015 PINKtober Breast Cancer Awareness Honoree, for a special night benefiting the TBBCF.

October 14 - Shoreline Chambers are hosting the Annual Tri-Chamber October Health Fair Luncheon - Branford

The Clinton, Madison, and Shoreline Chambers are hosting the Annual Tri-Chamber October Health Fair Luncheon on Wednesday, October 14.  The program entitled A Survivor's Journey, Before, During and After will feature three outstanding women with a common message of survivorship! 

They are Cindy Sheridan Murphy, founder of The Coaches Perspective;  Dr Dorothy Martin-Neville, a national speaker, author, healer, coach; and   Debra Alt, songstress and published writer.

 TBBCF will be one of the exhibitor's at the event.

October 24 - Zumba Party in Pink at the Griswold Elementary School


Stand Up Against Breast Cancer ... t hen shake your butt and have fun! Dress up in pink and PAINT YOUR PINKY to support Cancer Research!   Zumba Party In Pink at Griswold Elementary School, 303 Slater Ave., Glasgo, Connecticut on Saturday, October 24 from 10-11 a.m.

October 25 - The Shack Restaurants - Dine-Out Event
 
October 25th is our "dine-out" event - we will be taking a minimum of 10% of our sales that day for in-house dinning and take-out and donate it to TBBCF.  WCTY (97.7) will be broadcasting live from our East Lyme store.

Buy raffle tickets, candy pops, or create a Shack plate all for $1 which will go directly to the TBBCF We will also be selling shirts, hats and water bottles with all proceeds going to TBBCF .

The Shack is a local, family owned and operated company that has been serving southeastern Connecticut residents and visitors since 1989. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the menu offers both all-American favorites and classic comfort foods. Click here for event flyer.

October 27 - 4th Annual Pink Ladies at the Twisted Vine - Westerly

Join Julie Holland for the 4th Annual Pink Ladies Event at The Twisted Vine from 5 pm -10 pm.

Just a $5 Donation at the Door enters you for a chance to win some great Door Prizes.  Take a chance on over 30 Great Raffle items.

Music from 6 pm - 8 pm by the incredible  Marcy Kelly Trio !!!

October 27 and 28 Electric Boat Employees - Women's Health Days

TBBCF is proud to be a participant in the upcoming Electric Boat Women's Health Days.

Date: Tuesday, October 27th
 -  Location: Groton Campus Time: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm  
Date: Wednesday, October 28th  -  Location: New London Campus  Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

This special event coincides with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the on-site Yale Mobile Mammography Van. Electric Boat is once again pooling local resources in a continuing attempt to raise awareness about women's health issues.


October 29 - Shift for Breast Cancer Day Glo Style in Guilford


Bring on the Day Glo! We are rocking it out under the black light with a LIVE DJ and raising money for the 
Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation .

The event is being held on October 29 beginning at 6:30 p.m. $30 per bike with $20 going to the Foundation as a donation. 


October 30-31 - Groton Regional Theatre Presents Rocky Horror Show

Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show is best known for its film adaptation starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and oddly, Meatloaf. 

While the film is spectacular, the show is an altogether different and incredibly exciting experience. The Rocky Horror Show will make audiences question all they thought they knew about science,Transylvania, and outer space. 

Come along with Groton Regional Theatre (GRT)
as they bring all the things you love about the film to life for Halloween Weekend to support the Terry Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation.

Showings are Friday, October 30th at 8pm, and twice Saturday, Halloween Night, at 7 pm and again at 11:59 pm. Be there and join us while they "do the Time Warp again"!  Visit GRT at grotontheatre.org

November 4 - Artists' Cooperative Gallery Westerly Raffle to Benefit TBBCF

As a member of Westerly's Downtown Business Association and in recognition of Westerly's PINKtober breast cancer awareness campaign, the Artists Cooperative Gallery of Westerly is holding a special raffle to benefit the TBBCF.
 
Artist, Dan Marantz has created a pen to raffle off at the  Gallery during the monthly opening  to benefit the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation. Click here for more details

Tickets are available at the Gallery for $1.00 each and all proceeds will go directly to the Foundation. Drawing to be held at 7 pm on November 4 at the Gallery's November show opening. Winner does not need be present to win.

November 7 - Steak Night with Pam's Pink Posse at The Birdseye Cafe in New London

Join Walk Team - Pam's Pink Posse on Saturday, November 7 from 5 pm - 8 pm at The Birdseye Café on 187 Jefferson Avenue in  New London for Steak Dinner Night!  
 
Tickets $20 per person sold in advance or at the door. 
 
Dinner includes:  Grilled Ribeye Steak,  Ziti w/meat sauce,  Baked Potato,  Tossed Salad, and  Seasoned Tomatoes.
