Greetings!

REALTOR
Safety:
Knowledge. Awareness.
Empowerment. These are the core components of
REALTOR Safety. And helping our members understand the risks they
face can mean the difference between life and death.
As part of NAR's
ongoing efforts to keep our members safe, September has been
dedicated as REALTOR Safety month to kick off safety efforts.
To help remind all
of us to know the dangers we face every day, to be aware of our
surroundings, and empower ourselves with precautions and
preparations so that we can avoid risky situations, TBBOR has
planned a Safety Workshop to be held on September 17th. This year's
workshop will be different from years past. A variety of situations
will be simulated in a more realistic setting. Safety tips and self
defense instruction will be given to members at the workshop.
Please see the Safety Workshop details in this month's Homefront
Newsletter and contact the Board Office to
register.
MLS Enforcement:
As mentioned in last month's Homefront Newsletter,
the TBBOR MLS Committee has stepped up efforts to enforce our
Association's MLS Policies. Each Friday, Committee Members give
their time to police our MLS. A warning will be sent to a Broker
and Listing agent detailing the infraction. A deadline is given to
correct the infraction. If the correction is not made within the
time allotted, a citation is issued to the responsible Broker and
again detailing a time deadline and the consequences that will be
incurred if the correction is not made AND citation not paid. These
procedures have been outlined and posted on the Home Page of
Paragon. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Warm Regards,
Tina Smith,
President
