Erev Tish B'Av Zoom Experience
with the Jewish Yoga School
Wednesday, July 29, 7 p.m.
Tisha B’Av, the 9th of the Hebrew month of Av, commemorates the destruction of the 1st and 2nd Temples in Jerusalem. This holiday has come to memorialize not only Jewish persecution throughout the ages but the brokenness of our world at large.
In these times of upheaval and uncertainty, the themes of Tisha B'Av are relevant to us all. While Tisha B’Av focuses on destruction it creates -as well- an opening for renewal and rebirth.

Our Tisha B'Av yin-style, slow yoga practice will provide the container for us to reflect (privately) upon our personal and communal experiences of grief, brokenness, and exile. We will emerge with greater sensitivity and resilience.

This practice is appropriate for all ages and abilities.
This event is free and open to the entire community.
Send the Sweetest of all Rosh Hashanah Greetings!

Donate Household Items to Those in Need
Our friends and neighbors at the Manhasset/Great Neck EOC help at-risk youth and families by providing support for both children and their families. At this trying time, the EOC is asking for our help. Please consider donating toiletries, laundry detergent, health products, first-aid supplies, cleaning supplies and paper goods.

Donations can be dropped off in the TBE entrance vestibule anytime or contact us for a contactless pick up at your home.
Help Deliver Food to the Hungry
Our partners in the Great Neck Interfaith Food Pantry at St. Aloysius Church are working hard to feed more and more people in the North Shore community. Our TBE Brotherhood continues to help stock the pantry with food. Help is also needed to deliver food to local families. Can you help with these deliveries?
Covid Relief Fund—Support Those in Need
We recognize that many of our temple families are being affected by the closure of businesses.
If you're facing a financial challenge, please contact our clergy immediately for a private conversation about how your Beth-El family can help provide assistance.

Please consider a donation to our emergency fund to help those whose livelihood and ability to care for themselves or their family has been impacted.

Todah Rabah , thank you very much, to all who have already given generously.
