High Holy Days Packet and Prayer Book Pickup
We are excited that the High Holy Days are almost upon us and we are ready for congregants to pick up their High Holy Days packets and loaner prayer books. Of course, out-of-town members and those who have told us they need assistance, will have them locally delivered or mailed.

Enter the building through the parking lot entrance during these pick up times:
Monday | 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Tuesday-Thursday | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Online Links and Pass Codes*
Watch for an email this week that will contain your link to our High Holy Day website and your unique member pass code to access our services.

Pass Codes will be emailed to members whose accounts are in good standing. If you are not sure if you have fulfilled your commitment to our holy community or if you are facing a financial hardship, please contact Stu Botwinick as soon as possible. Stu can be reached at 516-487-0900, ext. 107 or by email at
We’re sounding the shofar every day in Elul (except Shabbat) leading up to Rosh Hashannah to help wake up our souls. Join us daily for Shofar Shorts videos posted on the TBE Facebook page, and see several already posted this week!
Eternal Light Initiative: Our Annual Campaign
“If I am not for me, who will be for me? And if I am for myself alone, what am I? And if not now, when?”―Hillel
Now more than ever, we ask for your help. We can do more. We can further feed, visit, seek, discover, advocate, teach, study, pray and grow. We have seen the good we do for so many, and we are excited for the future.
Please consider supporting our holy community and our annual fund through a donation to the Eternal Light Initiative.
Please note, our High Holy Days publications list all donors since last year through August 2020. We will proudly share an updated version listing our generous supporters after the High Holy Days and they will also be displayed outside of our holy Rudin Chapel for the coming year.
’60s Protest Songs: More Relevant Today?
Wednesdays, September 16 | 8 p.m.
Visit our own virtual coffeehouse for the second half our two-session series, as we examine whether those ’60s protest songs are still relevant or if they are just blowin’ in the wind. Join educator David Woolfe to spend some time with the music that informed our worldview—and weigh the message of those songs against the timeless Jewish values of social justice in this two-part Master Class series.
No preregistration is needed. Click below to join us on Zoom or join us by phone.

Holiday Cooking with Hannah

Prep and refrigerate the salmon rillettes a few days in advance so the flavors reach their peak. A delicious noodle casserole and honey cornbread complete the meal.
