Just a quick update on the market... sales of homes are down and inventory is starting to build year over year. Inventory is still super low compared to typical monthly inventory in this area which has been around 600+ homes in normal market cycles. Home sales are dropping, but only by 2% with average $ per square foot still over $200 and days on market are still down compared to last year at this time. In looking at the data, it shows that it is still a great time to put your home on the market if you are planning to sell this year. It is very important to price your property right or you will miss the first weeks of showings from eager buyers wanting to purchase. This event will feature a Philanthropy Market where guests will be able to shop for a cause. The market will be a curated shopping experience featuring local businesses. The vendors will donate 15% of their proceeds from the day back to the Community Clinic. Guests will take a break from the market to enjoy a powerful program where they will learn more about the Clinic, hear patient stories and honor women in the local healthcare industry. Guests will also enjoy a lovely lunch with their friends and co-workers provided by local restaurant, TRIS. Proceeds from the Women Empowering Women Luncheon benefit Interfaith Community Clinic, the only charity clinic serving all of Montgomery County.
