Zamir and Nashirah: Two choirs together in a musical immersion
The acclaimed Nashirah: The Jewish Chorale of Philadelphia, fresh off a series of concerts in Paris, returns to Boston for a joint performance with The Zamir Chorale of Boston on Sunday, November 2, at 2:00 pm at Temple Reyim in Newton. The combined choruses will encompass the audience on three sides for an immersive sonic experience similar to our recent concert in the round.
Don’t miss this special collaboration, led by Zamir conductor Josh Jacobson, featuring music from a variety of traditions, including Hebrew, Yiddish, and Ladino songs, as well as tributes to America’s semiquincentennial. We’ll also present a moving ode to Kyiv, the birthplace of Nashirah’s conductor, Julia Zavadsky.
Sunday, November 2, 2025, 2:00 pm ET, Temple Reyim, 1860 Washington Street, Newton, MA
