Founded in 2014, Diverso Energy is the only fully vertically integrated geothermal utility company in North America. Diverso pioneered the Geothermal Energy as a Service (EaaS) model in Ontario, simplifying the integration of geothermal systems into multi-unit residential, commercial, and low-rise buildings. The company designs, builds, owns, and operates the geothermal system just like a conventional energy utility, helping developers reduce construction costs, increase GFA, and lower their carbon footprints. All of its key operations, including engineering, drilling, and construction management, are conducted in-house.

Today, Diverso is majority-owned by CVC DIF — the infrastructure strategy of CVC, a leading alternative investment manager with over €200bn of AUM. With more than 50 years of combined experience, top developers—from Camrost Felcorp to Mattamy Homes—trust Diverso to deliver on their most complex projects.
