TCA's Annual Golf Tournament Recap
|
TCA's Golf Tournament was held on Thursday May 18, 2017 at
the Angus Glen Golf Club. The event was a great success as over two hundred attendees enjoyed a spectacular day of golf and networking, followed by dinner, awards presentation and lucky prize draw. Our prize give-away this year was a Multi -Function Jump Starter.
First place winners of the north and south course walked away with gift cards from the LCBO.

YCL RAISES OVER $52,000
IN SUPPORT OF CAMP TRILLIUM THROUGH THE MLSE TEAM UP CHALLENGE!

On Sunday June 18, 2017, our Young Construction Leaders (YCL) committee participated in this year's MLSE Team up Challenge.
Supporting Camp Trillium, the MLSE Team Up Challenge presented by Ford provides recreational experiences to children living with cancer, their siblings and parents, so all together they can heal and have fun.
Last year our YCL team raised over $34,000 in support of Camp Trillium, this year our YCL fundraising efforts resulted in over
$52'000 raised! A very special thank you from our YCL to those who donated, supported and cheered on!

YCL 2017 Boat Cruise - Recap
|
|
On Thursday, June 22, 2017 the Annual YCL Boat Cruise set sail aboard Yankee Lady III onto Lake Ontario for an evening of fun and networking. The weather cooperated and over a hundred and thirty attendees were on board. The scenery, food and entertainment was fantastic and enjoyable from start to finish.

Deadline Extended - Working at Heights Training Program
Mandatory Working at Heights Training Program extended to October 1st, 2017 by the Ministry of Labour.
Employers have until October 1, 2017 to ensure that workers successfully complete a CPO-approved working at heights training program.
This extension applies ONLY to workers who have:
- Completed fall protection training prior to April 1, 2015
- Who are enrolled in a CPO approved Working at Heights training program scheduled to be completed before OCTOBER 1st, 2017.

Issued by Peel District School Board, the project is for construction of educational facility, Kennedy Road Public School located in Caledon East, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade, 850-seat educational facility. Construction of a two-storey elementary school to accommodate grades K-8 for approximately 850 students. Project value is estimated at $15 million dollars.
