Drawing Closer to God
Sunday Morning Christian Ed Class Continues this Sunday
Sundays in February (2/2 - 2/23)
9:30A | RM201
Taught by John Marciniec
This series will explore ways that we can grow closer to God in our relationship with Him. Using some of the topics from “The Practice of the Presence of God,” we will look at Scripture that leads us into a deeper relationship with God. Topics that we will cover are consistent prayer, connecting with God, drawing near to God, and how these disciplines help us during times of suffering. The format will be like a Bible study, with a combination of lecture and discussion, so that we can benefit from each other’s experience.
Evensong: Lent
Join us as we begin the Lenten season together with an Ash Wednesday Evensong Worship Service.

Next Wednesday | Feb 26th | 6:30-7p

March Christian Education
Daniel's Apocalypse
3/1, 3/8, 3/15, and 3/22 • 9:30a • Room 201
Taught by Ryan Horwath, GCTS Student and YWAM Montana School Leader.
Many of us are familiar with the stories in Daniel, like Daniel in the Lion’s Den, and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. But many don’t know that Daniel also has a series of apocalyptic visions. These visions are amazing because not only do they specifically lay out what will happen in history hundreds of years before it happens, but also it will give us a clear picture of the ministry and work of Jesus. Through Daniel, we will understand better the Kingdom of God, God’s sovereignty, and how to live faithfully for God in an anti-God society. Come and study this amazing book!
Men's Forum - March 6th @ 6:15a
Matt Wilson, Associate Director of the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University, speaks on "Taking Ownership While Giving Glory to God."

Lost and Found – Everything Left in the Church Coat Closets will be Donated on
March 2.
Our coat closets and Lost and Found box are overflowing once again!    We are currently doing our New Year cleaning. Please help us stay organized by taking a few minutes to go through what’s there and claim your belongings.  All unclaimed items left in the church closets will be donated on Monday, March 2.  Thank you!

Are you Missing a Dish, Tupperware Container or Pan that you Brought to Church?
On the kitchen rack next to the refrigerator, there are many unclaimed kitchen items. Please stop by, and see if your items are among them.  Anything remaining after March 2 will be donated.
Winter Parking is Tight - Please Help!!
If you are physically able, please park in the Town Building Lot. You may drop off people or paraphernalia and then proceed to the parking lot. This will leave parking spots for visitors, the handicapped, our older population and those with young infants and toddlers.  This is a practical way for us to show hospitality.  Do not park along the sides of the driveway, as these areas are fire lanes and must be kept clear.

Not sure how to find the overflow lot? Here's a map!
Winter Weather and Possible Church Cancellations

With winter on our doorstep, here is TCC’s inclement weather policy regarding church service delays or cancellation:

In the event of bad weather, a decision will be made by 7p on Saturday night for Sunday morning services . On Sunday mornings, we may potentially cancel the 9:30A service (along with all LTA and Youth Programming) and just have the 11A service. This would mean there would not be any Student Ministry or Children’s Programming at the 11A service.
You can learn about any plans to cancel or delay services by:
  • Calling the church office (508-358-7717; a temporary message will be left on the church’s answering machine so that people may call in and find out the status of services)
  • Checking the front page of the TCC website
  • Checking CBSBoston.com
  • Watching WBZ-TV
As always, please use your own discretion before traveling in any questionable weather!

NO Student Ministries Programming This Sunday

Due to the Guatemala trip, there will be no Student Ministries Programming this Sunday, February 23.

This means NO Student Ministries Worship Service or HS Small Groups this Sunday in Bradford.

Hey Parents and Students,

Don't miss Deep Freeze 2019! Our group will be attending this winter retreat the weekend of March 13-15 at Camp Berea in Hebron, New Hampshire.
In addition to sledding, moon-bouncing, polar-plunging, carpetballing, group-gaming, pillow-fighting, eating and occasionally sleeping, we get a chance to hear from speaker Miles Fiddell and worship with the creatively artistic band Sing Love Worship.

All High School and Middle School students are invited to join us for this unforgettable retreat. If you would like to sign up, please go to https://berea.campbrainregistration.com/.

If the process seems unclear on the site, here are some instructions to guide you along! This year all sign-ups will be done on-line, but student fees will be paid to TCC.

Feel free to pay by cash or check (made out to "TCC" with Deep Freeze; write your student's name in the memo line), which can be turned in to the TCC Office or Kyle/Elaine. The cost is $200/student and scholarships are available based on need!

FYI: If you are wondering about the dates of our Summer Camp Week at Berea, our group will be attending the July 26 - August 1 (Jr/Sr High #3) Week.

The Bridge House Update
Will Montano, the amazing meal coordinator at the Bridge House (faith-based recovery home), is having shoulder surgery on January 27th and will be away for a month (until the end of February). Will is reaching out to see if we might be able to provide some dinners while Will is away.

Would your LIFE Group consider cooking and/or delivering a meal to the courageous residents and staff (about 35-45) of the Bridge House? Please contact Kyle for details.
