Serve 72: An All-Church, Community Service Blitz

This 72-hour, all-church, community service blitz is an opportunity for our church to share the Gospel through word and deed. During three sessions of service and discussion, we will connect with each other and serve people in our community.

Please call or email the office with the name of your graduate’s high school or college by June 18th . Please include the name of the school and, if applicable, the degree earned or future plans. Parking and Being Respectful of our Neighbors’ Yards on Sunday Morning
 Thank you to all who park off-site to leave spots open in the TCC lot! One additional request… as you walk over to TCC, please be respectful of our neighbors! Avoid parking on their lawns, blocking their driveways or walking across their properties
Lifting Up Liberian Youth (LULY) - Donations needed by June 30th!
Lifting Up Liberian Youth (LULY), formally known as the Teddy Sayonkon Foundation (TSF), is now under the umbrella of mission organization D.M. Stearns and can accept tax deductible donations.
 
Teddy and LULY are again collecting clothes, shoes, school supplies, toys, backpacks, books and Bibles to be shipped to Liberia at the end of June. 
 
If you would like to donate any of these items, please bring them to Family Day and leave them in the designated collection area beside the doorway. Donations at other times can be left in the designated collection area in the stairwell off the lobby.

Parent Support Group - You Are Not Alone (YANA)
Parenting is hard work! Some parents find themselves with unique challenges in raising their children, which can be overwhelming and isolating. A new support group for caregivers of children with unique struggles and needs. We will encourage one another while building a community of support, maintaining confidentiality.
Meetings on the 3rd Monday of the month from 7-8:30p . Registration is required.

We have a great summer program planned, and you’re invited to be part of it! We’re looking for volunteers to staff our Children’s Ministry from June 30 - August 25. Serve one or two Sundays, based on your availability. Whether you enjoy toddlers, preschool, or elementary kids, we have a place for you! Please email  [email protected] , or sign up at the CM desk.

General Information and Community Life
We can't do church alone! LIFE Groups help us grow in our faith and meet throughout the Metro West area.

Each Sunday there are dozens of volunteers that make our services and programs happen. Serving is a great way to get connected to our community.

Food Pantry
The TCC Food Pantry offers assistance to those in the community who need help with providing for themselves and their family. Our food pantry is open on Sundays and during regular church office hours. Donations to “Loaves & Fishes” Food Pantry are gratefully accepted. There is a collection bin on a table near the lobby stairwell.

Sudbury Christian Women’s Connection June Meeting
Tuesday, June 11 th , from 11:30a-1:30p
Longfellow’s Wayside Inn - Lunch Served
A local drama troupe will present stories of women who lived through WWII (in their own words) as the featured program at the Sudbury Christian Women’s Connection June meeting. All area women and men are invited. Following the drama troupe presentation, inspirational speaker Jenny Hammond from Baldwinsville, NY will share her faith in ‘Tales from the Norwegian Woods’. Reservations are required. Please call Margie at 508-545-0228 to reserve space. Lunch is $20 all inclusive.  

The local Sudbury CWC is affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries, a non-denominational, non-profit Christian organization providing global leadership in women’s ministry. Its mission is to "equip and encourage women to impact their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ." Inviting someone to a luncheon is easy and fun!

The Blood Drive needs your help! The students are assigned to 2-hour shifts to greet and register donors (under staff supervision), in return for Community Service Credit and a Certificate. The volunteer coordinator is Mimi at  [email protected] .
