Need to Know
Here are the top 3 things to know this week:
Pastor's Note:
The Presumption of (In)tolerance
Tolerance, when properly defined, is a wonderful virtue. Tolerance is marked by kindness, forbearance and patience. Paul says of God in Romans 2:4 that the riches of His kindness, his forbearance and patience are all characteristics that bring us to a place of acknowledging God in our lives in the most profound ways. It’s His kindness that leads to repentance (saying yes to him and no to everything else).
The Eleven O Five – Our Second Hour Worship Service
Sundays @ 11:05a

This year at TCC we want to open up some space at the 9:30a service. Would you consider trying out attending our 11:05a service this season? What is the Eleven O Five? Find out here.
Adult Education Seminar: Studies in Leviticus (with Ryan Horwath)
Sundays | 9:30a | Room 201
Sept 22, 29, Oct 5

Leviticus is a book of crazy laws. Why does it matter to us as Christians? Come to a four week class on Leviticus and you will begin to see why it’s actually one of the most important books of the Bible.

Come mentor 4 th and 5 th grade girls at Girls’ Gathering on Wednesday evenings, 5:30 – 7:00p. We do crafts, talk about God’s love for us, and pray for one another.

Childcare for Thursday Morning Women's Bible Study
We need one more adult to assist in childcare on Thursday mornings, 9:15 – 11:15a. This is a paid opportunity and a wonderful way to earn a little extra money!

General Information and Community Life
We can't do church alone! LIFE Groups help us grow in our faith and meet throughout the Metro West area.

Each Sunday there are dozens of volunteers that make our services and programs happen. Serving is a great way to get connected to our community.

Food Pantry
Spread the word. If you are in need, or if you know someone who is in need, such as single parents, those on a fixed income, unemployed or others who could use a helping hand, please feel free to visit the church office for assistance from our loaves & fishes food pantry. Our Food Pantry is open on Sundays and regular church hours.

The TCC Food Pantry offers assistance to those in the community who need help with providing for themselves and their family. Our food pantry is open on Sundays and during regular church office hours. Donations to “Loaves & Fishes” Food Pantry are gratefully accepted. There is a collection bin on a table near the lobby stairwell.
